What is a fatbike?

A fatbike is a type of mountainbike but with oversized tyres, almost twice as wide as on MTB:s. Thanks to the tyres, a fatbike has little impact on fragile environments, leaves less marks on the ground and is the obvious choice to explore the nature. Fatbikes allows you to ride on any type of ground; sand, gravel, mud and snow, but also the tarmac roads will give you a totally new experience!

But isn’t it heavy?

That is the most common question when riding a fatbike and the answer is NO! Despite the oversized tyres these bikes are rolling very easily and they have very good gearing. You can also chose yourself how much ground contact you want by changing the air pressure in the tyres. It is also the pressure that decides how much suspension you will have while biking.

Our Silverback fatbikes are lightweight, stable and fun to ride and will take you on many great adventures. They come with 10 or 20 gears and we have the sizes S, M and L. Of course we also provide helmets!

Bike delivery

If you want to go biking in the Tiveden area or try out the really nice MTB-trails around Rönneshytta and Lerbäck? We try to offer delivery for a small cost and as long as we have possibility. You can also rent a bike stand for the car if you want to transport the bikes yourself.

Bike touring

If you are going on a longer bike trip with a lot of equipment, fatbikes are perfect and very stable. Wether you are riding on gravel roads or want to explore some single tracks you have the perfect companion with you! We also rent frame bags for fatbikes as well as other equipment for your adventure!

Fatbike for children

With this 20″ fatbike also the younger ones gets the chance to enjoy riding with fat tyres. This bike fits children from around 120 cm and has 7 gears and disc brakes.

Unfortunately our child-fatbike can’t be booked online but send us an email to make a reservation or to get information and prices. We also have two 24″ CHILD-MTB for rent.
