Can you rent bikes at Experitur?
Yes, Experitur rents out different types of bikes: Citybikes, fatbikes, mountainbikes, e-mountainbikes and children bikes. See all our bikes here.
Does Experitur rent out equipment for bike packing and bike touring?
You can rent bike bags from Vaude: Trailfront 19 liters, Trailframe 8 liters and Trailsaddle 12 liters. We also have Vaude Aqua Back 2 x 24 liters and Vaude Top Case 30 liters. Read about our bike bags here.
Does Experitur arrange guided tours?
Yes, we offer both guided and self-guided tours in Askersund and in Tiveden, and both by bike and with packraft, canoe and Sup-board. You can read about our guided and self-guided tours under Adventures. In the winter we arrange back country ski tours with tent nights in South Lapland.
We want to go kayaking, can we rent kayaks from Experitur?
Yes, we have two Seabird Expedition kayaks and one Point 66 double kayak. Our kayaks are in Askersund and from here you can start paddling towards the archipelago of Lake Vättern. For a fee we can also transfer the kayaks to your wished starting place. Learn more about our kayaks here.
Can we rent camping equipment from Experitur?
We rent out different types and sizes of tents, from 1 to 7 person tents. We also have sleeping bags, mattresses and other camping epuipment like gas stoves, pots and pans, plates and cutlery. Read more about camping equipment here.

Can Experitur help us to organize tours that are not on the website?
We can tailor-make tours according to your wishes, both regarding biking, hiking and paddling.
Is Experitur an incoming agency / DMC?
Yes, Experitur works as an incoming agency / DMC and can help you to plan tours for FIT’s, families and smaller groups. We work with small, cozy hotels and hostels in Askersund and Tiveden. Is Experitur offering activities for companies, conferences and groups?
We are happy to give you an offer for group activities including biking or paddling. We can take groups up to 12-15 people or provide different types of equipment if you want a ”try new things” kind of activity. For example:Try kayaking, SUP-boarding, packrafting and canoeing.
About bookings and cancelations
How do I book equipment and tours from Experitur?
Most of our rental gear is available on our online booking from BookSpot. You should find the Book Now (or Boka Nu) button in the lower right corner on the website. If you can’t find what you are looking for you are very welcome to contact us and we will help you! Not all of our tours have a fixed day or date, so please send an email with the date and we will do our best to organize the tour accordingly. Contact us at info@experitur.se
What are the cancelation terms when we book with Experitur?
We recommend that you have an insurance policy that includes cancellation cover, which allows you to get your money back in case of illness or other unforeseen events. Our rental equipment is not really refundable but for a small fee you can add the possibility to change dates during the booking process. If you book a guided or self-guided tour there might be a possibility to change day in case something happens, but it depends on availability.
