Paddle the canoe trail in the mythical forests of Tiveden
Step into the fascinating wilderness of Tiveden and experience its quiet beauty from the water. This full-day canoe adventure takes you through a chain of peaceful forest lakes, surrounded by deep woods, dramatic cliffs and small islands perfect for a relaxing break.
The 15 km canoe trail starts at Lake Bosjön and winds its way through several small lakes until the crystal-clear waters of Lake Unden. Paddle at your own pace and enjoy the calm atmosphere of one of Sweden’s most beautiful forest landscapes.
Along the way you can stop on one of the small islands for a traditional Swedish fika, take a refreshing swim or simply enjoy the silence of the forest. You will also find a shelter with a fireplace where you can take a longer break and have lunch.
On this tour, you will paddle a stable, inflatable canoe with two seats and plenty of space for both paddlers and equipment. The canoe weighs only 17 kg but can carry up to 240 kg, making it easy to handle while still very stable on the water.
There are a few short portages along the trail, the longest about 400 metres. To make these easier you can borrow a canoe trolley.

Included in the price:
We will deliver the canoe to Lake Bosjön and pick it up at Lake Unden. Before you set off on your tour, we will go through the information needed. Maps and descriptions as well as a dry bag is included. After the tour, we will take you back to your car at the starting point. Please let us know if you need transfer from/to Askersund.
You have the possibility to rent outdoor kitchen (gas or fuel) for cooking and food or fika package can be booked as an extra.
