Our bikes

Our city bikes are perfect for trips in the nearby area. They are comfortable and easy to ride, with 3 gears and foot brake. The upright sitting position allows you to enjoy the surroundings. With a basket in the front and the package holder in the back you can bring different kind of equipment. We also rent bike bags in case you want to make a longer tour. Further down we give some ideas where to go biking around Askersund.

We have bikes from the well-known Swedish brands Monark and Sjösala. Our city bikes are best suitable for bikers measuring approximately 160-185 cm. If you are taller, we suggest that you check out our mountainbikes and fatbikes for a more comfortable ride.

Bike delivery to Tiveden and Örebro

You find Experitur in Askersund but we also try to offer bike delivery for a small extra cost. We deliver bikes to Tiveden, Hallsberg and Örebro. During summer 2026 we don’t have a fixed rental place in Örebro, but we deliver bikes to the area outside Örebro Castle. Please contact us for more information regarding bike delivery.

Bike tours around Askersund

• Bike along Lake Alsen, the northernmost part of Vättern, and visit Stjernsunds castle. The history of the castle date back to the 18th century. Join a guided tour of the castle, visit the small shop and don’t miss out the beautiful scenery and the delicious bakery from cafeteria next to the lake.
• Around 6 km southeast of Askersund you find the monument dedicated to Sweden’s first female aviator, Elsa Andersson. In 1922 she lost her life in a tragic accident while performing a sky diving jump. Follow the road towar

Bike tours in Örebro

• Bike along the River Svartån towards the nature reserve Oset and Rynningeviken. Here you also find the restaurant Naturens Hus where you can have a coffe or lunch before you continue your trip all the way to Lake Hjälmaren.
• Hemfjärden Runt is a 40 km bike route around the westernmost part of Lake Hjälmaren. This bike route is marked and also contains a short ferry trip to cross the canal.

• Bike upstreams along Svartån towards Karlslund. Enjoy the lush green next to the river and the sound of birds singing before you arrive to the beautiful mansion house Karlslund. Another 2,5 km further away you find Lindbacka, an old mill and industrial area. Nowadays you find the only coffee brewery in Örebro here, Cozo coffee, and also a kombucha producer, Hej Kombucha. Take a walk among the old buildings and then relax with great coffee in the garden.
