New 2025 – Nature experience in Tiveden!
Join a peaceful evening paddling on a dark lake in the beautiful forest area of Tiveden. The nature experience is the main focus and we take in the scents of the forest, the bright sommer night sky and the birds singing around us. During the first half of the summer we might here the cuckoo calling and we will seach the water surface for swimming beavers.
On this tour we use SUP-boards and they move nice and quietly on the water. Of course you can choose if you want to sit or stand up on the paddleboard. If you haven’t tried stand-up-paddling before we will go through some techniques before we head out. Despite previous experience we will paddle slowly since the dark water makes it hard to see what’s under the surface. There might be some rocks and stones that we need to watch out for.
No nature experience is complete without “Swedish fika”! We will have a break on a rock and enjoy the evening, some snacks and chit-chatting. When we are back on deeper waters you have the chance to have an evening swim before we come back to the starting point.
Prices
Adult 650 SEK and children up to 14 years 520 SEK.
With preparations and the “fika” break this tour takes around 2,5 hours and is planned between 18.30-21.00 (in June and July but a bit earlier in August).
The price includes guide, SUP-board (one per person) with paddle and safety leash, life west, Swedish fika with sandwich and tea/coffee/juice.
Practical information and booking
Our evening paddling Nature experience with SUP-board on a dark Tiveden lake, is mainly for you who wants to enjoy the peace and quiet, no matter your age. Life wests are included but we want that you are able to swim to participate on this tour.
We can take a maximum of 5 persons on this tour. For transport to the starting point, around 15 min, you need to have your own car. We might be able to offer a ride if needed so please ask! We meet in Askersund and go together to the starting point. If you are staying in Tiveden, please let us know and we can give you directions directly to the starting point.
